On 4 November 2025, the Coordination Council of Nookat district held a meeting to review the implementation progress of the district’s Socio-Economic Development Programme (SEDP) for the first nine months of 2025. The meeting aimed to assess results achieved, discuss next steps, and strengthen coordination between local authorities and stakeholders.
Kubanychbek Orozmamat uulu, Head of the Economic Development Department of the Nookat District State Administration, presented updates on job creation, investment attraction, service improvement, inclusiveness, and climate adaptation measures.

According to the presented data, more than KGS 3 billion in investments were attracted to the district during the reporting period, including over KGS 1.1 billion allocated to capital construction projects. In total, 1,466 jobs were created under the programme, including 456 permanent positions.
“One of the priority areas of the SEDP is tourism development,” noted the representative of the district administration, highlighting plans to improve tourism infrastructure in the Kara-Koy park area.
During the discussion, Coordination Council members proposed further support for local entrepreneurship, agricultural processing, ethno-tourism, and municipal-private enterprises, as well as the creation of sectoral committees to strengthen monitoring of programme implementation.
Participants agreed to continue monitoring the implementation of the SEDP, expand experience-sharing between municipalities, and improve public awareness of the programme’s results.
