On February 14 and 15, the final training session on anti-corruption in the social protection sector was held, marking the completion of a series of eight planned training events for social protection department staff, social workers, and representatives from local jamoats.
The training programme was organised into two parts:
Day 1: Participants focused on poverty assessment, the TSA application process, and a recent decree #488 from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection outlining new principles for implementing the TSA programme.

Day 2: The focus shifted to anti-corruption legislation, real-life case studies of violations, and strategies to promote transparency in social protection services.

These two-day sessions were held in Dushanbe, Khujand, Bokhtar, and Kulob, with over 200 participants attending, including those from remote areas.
The training materials used will be submitted to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection for inclusion in the mandatory training curriculum for social protection specialists.

This event was organised as part of the «Effective Governance for Economic Development» programme (EGED), supported by the UK in Tajikistan and implemented by Acted in Tajikistan.
