From Learning to Earning: First cohort of “Inclusive Horizons” completed training

The first group of the “Inclusive Horizons” project, implemented by the National Centre for Socio-Economic Development “SABR” and funded by the UK Government under the EGED programme, has successfully completed their training.

Participants from Samarkand, Namangan, and Navoi regions gained vocational skills and business knowledge to unlock their entrepreneurial potential. Among them, 47 women and youth from low-income families, including persons with disabilities, received grants to launch their own micro-businesses.

A second cohort of 240 participants began their training on March 10, continuing the project’s mission to expand inclusive economic opportunities across Uzbekistan.

The initiative is funded by the UK Government through the regional “Effective Governance for Economic Development” (EGED) programme.
