These included data-driven socio-economic development planning, territorial investment profiles, forecasting mechanisms, and Coordination Councils serving as platforms for dialogue among local authorities, businesses, and civil society organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\" data-id=\"3293\" src=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3293\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_4.jpg 1600w, https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_4-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_4-1536x1024.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to programme results, approximately 2,600 new jobs were created in the pilot districts by the end of 2025. Current projections estimate that more than 17,500 jobs could be generated by 2030. Improved investment management processes are expected to contribute to additional economic growth, with projected household income increases ranging from 50 to 60 percent in some districts. The estimated cumulative economic impact of systemic improvements in local investment governance is projected to reach KGS 83.6 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1067\" data-id=\"3305\" src=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_10.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3305\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_10.jpg 1600w, https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_10-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_10-1536x1024.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at the conference, Iskandarbek Mamatov, Head of the Regional Development Policy Department at the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, highlighted the growing opportunities for regional development in Kyrgyzstan and emphasized the importance of effective engagement with both domestic and international investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cThe pilot districts of the EGED Programme demonstrate how local governments can proactively remove barriers, present investment opportunities, and build productive dialogue with investors. Their experience provides valuable lessons for replication across the country\u201d,<\/em> he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Concrete results are already contributing to increased investment attraction and local economic growth:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In Jeti-Oguz district, investment forums facilitated the signing of cooperation memoranda worth approximately USD 600 million. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kemin district has developed an investment portfolio comprising 115 projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At-Bashy district has strengthened the development of priority economic clusters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-4 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1000\" data-id=\"3287\" src=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3287\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_1.jpg 1500w, https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/KG_12062026_1-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1500px) 100vw, 1500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing participants online, Jafar Usmanov, Programme Director of EGED, emphasized that the programme\u2019s key objectives had been successfully achieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cWhile each Central Asian country has developed its own approaches to regional planning and governance, local authorities across the region face similar challenges.
