The event was organized by the NGO <em>Jahon<\/em> for representatives from Sughd Region and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The training aimed to strengthen the capacity of local organizations to raise public awareness about access to TSA, including application procedures, completion of the required documentation, and the process for reviewing applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" src=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/01102024_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3209\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/01102024_2.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/01102024_2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/01102024_2-1536x1024.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the training, participants explored the implementation mechanisms of the TSA programme, discussed innovative approaches to public awareness campaigns, and learned about the requirements for developing project proposals to secure funding for initiatives that improve public awareness of social assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to participants, the training will contribute to expanding vulnerable groups\u2019 access to reliable information on social protection, improving the quality of community outreach conducted by local organizations, and strengthening cooperation between civil society and government institutions in the field of social protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was supported by the UK Government in Tajikistan under the Effective Governance for Economic Development (EGED) Programme, implemented by ACTED in partnership with the World Bank in Tajikistan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2048\" height=\"1365\" src=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/01102024_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/01102024_3.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/01102024_3-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/01102024_3-1536x1024.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2048px) 100vw, 2048px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/18mdn5v75i\/\">https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/18mdn5v75i\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From 23 to 25 September, with the support of ACTED in Tajikistan, a training workshop was held for civil society organizations on designing and implementing effective awareness campaigns on the Targeted Social Assistance (TSA) programme.
