The event, held within the \u201cEffective Governance for Economic Development\u201d (EGED) Programme, gathered around 200 participants from across Central Asia, including government officials, researchers, international organizations, and civil society representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"624\" height=\"468\" src=\"https:\/\/eged-ca.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/26092025_Dushanbe.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1803\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Development Policy Institute (DPI), a key implementing partner of the EGED Programme, presented its experience from Kyrgyzstan on using data-driven approaches for regional development planning, social protection, and climate adaptation. Speaking during the panel discussion, DPI Board Chairperson Nadezhda Dobretsova emphasized that algorithm-based and data-informed planning has been successfully adopted by local self-government bodies in Kyrgyzstan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions covered poverty reduction, the expansion of the middle class, women\u2019s economic empowerment, and the growing climate-related risks facing the region.
